Jubilee members and the junior choir from the New Rich mond Church of Christ Bethel present a musical on the river at 7 15 PM in New Richmond featuring songs and community entertainment by local church groups.

Congressman William Harsha says the Appalachian Regional Commission awarded Clermont County a 820283 dollar grant to build the Human Service Wing of a new medical social complex. Local funding adds 205080 dollars. wing will include primary care and dental clinics, a dental education program, and Head Start offices.

Third fourth and sixth grade classes expanded due to enrollment growth. New teachers include Mrs Caudill Mrs Callahan and Mrs Gibson.
Superintendent Budd G. Hegele informed the board that Charles Meade is named assistant football coach and that Janet Meade has left the district after serving as advisor for football cheerleaders. Marilyn Anderson served as basketball cheerleader advisor. for 1980-81 the combined cheerleader advisor pay was reported at 457 dollars.
West Clermont trustees vote to raise school lunch prices after a reported 120000 dollar annual loss. Superintendent Duane Tennant says a 15 cent increase for meals and four cent milk rise is needed to break even. Grippa, formerly Amelia Middle School teacher, is hired on a two year contract. The district will partner with Miami University for graduate courses for staff.
