Seventy two relatives traveled from Memphis Indianapolis Cincinnati Columbus Lebanon Moscow Newport Mt Washington Forestville and Fruit Hill. They arrived with baskets and shared a noon meal followed by social time and pleasant recollections.

Judge W A Joseph a Batavia jurist died Tuesday morning after months of illness. He served 18 months as Probate Judge and ten years on the Common Pleas bench with high regard and respected decisions. He leaves a widow two sons Howard and Carl a father and one sister. Reared in Jackson township he taught school in youth. Funeral Thursday at 2 p m from the M E church with Masonic service. He was 66.

Fertilizer Plant Doubles Capacity Near Reading Ohio
Mr J D Van Houten visits a Lockland Ohio fertilizer plant built for the Farm Bureau. Since May its capacity doubled to 1600 tons daily with eight mixing and shipping units and 450 tons manufacturing. The plant runs two miles of switch track, owns a gasoline engine, and sources acid from Copper Hill Tennessee and phosphate from Florida.
