Martino Nominated for OSP Superintendent's Heroism Award

Mt Carmel trooper Tony Martino 32 of Summerside is named as a candidate for the Ohio State Patrol Superintendent's Award after he rescued 20 year old John Houk from a burning car on U S 50 near Monterey. Martino freed Houk despite a live electrical line and applied first aid after summoning life squad and fire support.

Clermont Grand Jury Indicts 15 in Milford death case

The Clermont County Grand Jury indicted 15 persons including Robert E. Troxtle in the May 22 Milford crash that killed Margaret Binder and Milton Myers. Countian Wins $600 Scholarship for Medical Research

Dennis C. Fitzgerald of Glen Este, son of Mr and Mrs Wilbur Fitzgerald, received a $600 Central Ohio Heart Association scholarship while a Capital University senior pre medical student.
