Clermont County Tragedy as Wife Murderer Captured
Scott Workman shot Nora Workman in their New Richmond area home after a morning argument. He held officers at bay for three hours with his six month old infant as a shield before Sheriff Croswell and Jack Wooly arrested him. Workman confessed and was bound over to the grand jury. Burial set for Nora in Augusta Kentucky. Nine children placed in juvenile care and county arrangements ongoing. Clermont records two first degree murderers jailed.

Loveland village council voted to take in 36 acres adjoining the town. Auto Crash Injures Owensville Youth on Indian Hill
Raymond Schultz son of Henry Schultz of Owensville veered to avoid a blocked road believed to be poorly lit. He struck a telephone pole and a beech tree, wrecking his car and sustaining head injuries including a severed artery. He was rushed to Christen hospital for treatment.
