Clermont County Fair Adds New Attractions and Events
The Clermont County Fair August 16 to 21 features Dan Fleeners Thrill Show returning after four years, a full day 4-H Horse Show, the Bicentennial Open Horse Show with 13 classes and 1100 prize, a 4-H Fun Radio program emceed by Jim Scott, and a dedication of the Historical Society building. Also new are a chicken shelter, tractor scales for the tractor pull, extended auction of 4-H steer, a motorcycle race Greatest Show on Wheels with a 450 purse, and a Grand Parade route through town ending at the fairgrounds. An EPA grant of 285675 dollars funds O Bannon Creek Waste Water Plan, a two million gallon per day plant serving 10000 people, phasing out three existing plants in northwest Clermont County.
