Samuel H. Dustin longtime Clermont figure dies in California after strokes began two months prior. Born 1844 in Meigs County he served in the Civil War and worked with Sargent Wilson American Book Co. He was a Mason and G A R leader and a former Captain Bart Emery Post commander. Survived by wife Annabel Fee and no children.

Bell led the day with superb organ and Miss Bertha Bishop’s fine choir. Evening preaching by Rev. Stafford and Rev. Price at the Methodist pulpit. United Brethren held regular services and Rev. Edward Zimmerman of Cincinnati spoke at Little Zion. A cool day with a large turnout at all houses of worship.

Bicyclers Warn Against Stooped Rides On Parades
