Leading Citizen Daniel K. Peterson Dies at Williamsburg Home
Daniel Kain Peterson, a prominent Williamsburg citizen and longtime banker, died August 1 1907 after paralysis followed illness. He served in the Civil War, helped found J H Jenkins Post G A R, was a Mason, and held public posts including Williamsburg township treasurer for 30 years and bank cashier. He leaves a widow Margaret and seven children with six surviving. The funeral was held at his residence with Masons in charge.
