Ten Year Olds Stop Six Ton Boulder Threat to Derby Track
Holston and Willie Kehoe, two ten year olds, spotted a six ton boulder on the Derby railroad track near New Haven, Connecticut. Milford man builds stern wheeler for lake trip

Clermont Democrats Fix Dates for County and State Conventions
Clermont Democrats met in Batavia to set schedules for county and state events. The primary is September 28, county convention September 25, and delegates for the September 7 Congressional convention to be chosen on the 4th. Mule’s leg injury after shodding sparks caution
