Cockrell entered Red Kennedy's restaurant on South Union street to protest alleged liquor sales to a minor. a bottle was thrown and struck Lowell Pribble. Pribble's brother disarmed Cockrell and Lowell Pribble struck him. Both sides claimed self defense. costs split. Charles L. Ireton, a former Clermont resident, died at Upland Place Hospital at 6 p.m. Tuesday from a brain hemorrhage. Funeral services are set for Marathon Friday at 2 30 p.m. and a Masonica service at Maham's Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Thursday evening. He was 78 years old.
