Ground was broken Monday for Clermont County project work at the Benton Road site with Ken Wolver as architect. A dedication for U S Grant Memorial Park in Bethel is set for Sunday April 30 at 1230 PM with plaques for Obed Denham Jesse Root Grant U S Grant and Ralph F Homan. Memorial events include Lyle Faulkner’s Fife and Drum Corps and flag ceremonies. Congressman Harsha announced a 2676000 FHA loan for a central Warren Clermont Brown Counties water system serving 1475 homes farms and institutions. plan includes 125 miles of mains wells and a treatment plant with E Ray Fearing president of the water corporation. State will spend 155460 on road repairs linked to I 275 material hauls. eight routes receive patches. Clermont County to pave 121.31 miles at 586840 this year. Appalachian Highway terminal point near Williamsburg under study with no construction date. Milford bridge project funded by Issue No 1 includes widening Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Amelia Olive Branch roads to 24 feet. some design work already submitted. County hopes projects start next year.
