Bond set at 2000 for William Lyle cutting charge

William Lyle 39 of Williamsburg was bound over to the Clermont County Grand Jury on a cutting to kill charge with bonds set at 2000 after appearing before Justice A C Minden in Batavia. Evelyn Huntley signed the warrant. Huntley was slashed on the shoulder throat and forearm.

Croswell Bus Line Extends Service To Clough Pike Area

Croswell Bus Line owner R. S. Croswell announced a new route extending to Clough Pike starting Monday May 1. The line will run from Glen Este Road through Clough Ta Basco Pike 8 Mile Road to Newtown Road and on to Cincinnati. A separate Puller Motor Delivery Service considers a 12 mile Centerville Road run toward Beechmont levee. Croswell says plans unchanged. Residents had pledged $6000 in support, with more than half already raised.

Milford officials study change in fire alarm sounding at the request of Cincinnati and Suburban Bell Telephone Co. Telephone operators have remotely controlled the siren for years. By August 1, the company seeks an alternative. Officials consider a funeral home 24 hour site with a remote relay to operate the Town Hall siren.
