West Clermont Board redistricting plan and teacher contracts
West Clermont Board of Education held a special meeting at Brantner Elementary on April 17 to approve a redistricting plan and decide teacher contract actions. The plan shifts student enrollments among Willowville, Merwin, Amelia, and Glen Este Schools, with an amendment allowing ninth graders to choose whether to move. Contracts for four teachers, including nonrenewals for three and a probationary offer for Jerry Drake, were approved after executive session amid teacher protests and threats of legal action by the West Clermont Teachers Association.
