Preble Officials Also Want Lerner On Larceny Count
Batavia reports Robert P. Lerner alias Ray Anderson alias Gulley of Bethel was found in a blood stained cell at Clermont County jail. He was hospitalized then transferred to FBI custody and held on suspected impersonating an Army officer in California and a Preble County grand larceny charge. An arrest followed a complaint by a Bethel mother regarding Lerner and her daughter. Lerner worked for C. E Danbury Trucking Company. Deputy Hutchinson noted blood on his bed suggesting a self injury to aid escape.
