Pensions for Blind in Ohio Likely Raised
The Ohio governor may sign a bill raising blind pensions after passage by both houses. If both spouses qualify only 150 per year. if only one qualifies 200 per year. Army recruits reach 181 at Cincinnati station
The Army Recruiting Station at 612 Vine St Cincinnati has accepted 181 applicants in four weeks an exceptionally high mark. Most enlist for overseas service with an average age of 21 years 10 months and 28 percent are former soldiers. Enlistments by unit include 64 infantry 60 cavalry 28 field artillery 9 coast artillery 20 staff. Of the 181 recruits 101 hail from Ohio.

Chas B Freeman a traveling hardware salesman from Ft Edwards NY collapsed after a hearty breakfast at the Adams Hotel on Saturday morning. He was 68 and his widow survives.
