Batavia Masonic Lodge Holds Annual Inspection Night

Batavia Masonic Lodge hosted its annual inspection with over 75 attendees from local and out of county lodges. Lieut. Col. Isaac Titus and wife, returning from California after wintering there, traveled 9 000 miles by car visiting scenic sites and old Clermont County acquaintances. They stay with Dr and Mrs Wm Griffith in Batavia.

Tuberculosis drive urged in Clermont County meeting

Dr. Robert G. Paterson urged expansion of the county tuberculosis program through education, skin testing, X ray diagnosis, and contact follow up. Eleven deaths in 1935 spurred a plan for county wide organization and a May 11 meeting to view the film Behind the Shadows. The Clermont County Public Health League reported a 260 dollar Christmas Seal fundraising total for 1936 to aid the program.

Officials to meet at Dixon Hotel in West Union
