County May Repair Public Roads Under Attorney General Opinion
Attorney General A G Denman has issued an opinion to D W Murphy the prosecuting attorney holding that county commissioners have sole authority to repair turnpikes and improv roads. Township trustees previously levied a tax for this purpose supported by five thousand dollars from the state and an equal amount from the county.
