A $300000 free parade features twelve bands steam callopes steam organs and a vast pageant with 60 ponies 80 horses and 1500 animals. Four rings present diverse acts from aerial to equestrian to sword walking while four side shows include foreign and child performances. The show promises a giant hippodrome with chariot races and novelty acts. Tickets are half price from the Ohio and Northwestern railroad.

Robert Clark born in Argyleshire Scotland January 20 1818 emigrated to Hamilton County Ohio in 1838 married Elizabeth Porter in February 1846 purchased a fort near Nicholsville Clermont County and lived there until his death August 2 1889. He was a respected farmer and longtime Monroe Presbyterian elder noted for faith and charity. He endured lip disease before passing to rest and is remembered with a funeral tribute from Clermont County church and Masonic lodge reflections.
