Sidney Mount Dies Prominent Clermont Businessman
Sidney Mount died at his Indianapolis home on Monday April 13 1905 in his 80th year. Born in Batavia he ran a tanyard and later leather works in Indianapolis amassing a large fortune. He leaves two sons and is survived by sisters Mrs Theresa Lee Mrs Mooney and sisters Mary Compton and Jacob Mount. He was a leading county and city businessman and final male Mount in Clermont’s influential family.

First Scragham rapid railcar reaches Cincinnati

Young farmer found dead after missing days near Clermontville
Harry Lewin, a young farmer living near Clermontville, was found dead in a ravine Sunday morning. The coroner reported heart disease caused his death after he had been missing for several days. He was the son of William Lewis and belonged to company F of Ontario. The opening game of the 1903 baseball season will be in Cincinnati tomorrow with the Reds vs Pittsburgs, and many locals plan to attend.
