Masonic Inspection and Spring Housecleaning Reflections

A New Richmond lodge held its annual inspection with broad attendance from many lodges. Kidd and Launderville Wed in Erie Pa Marriage

Joseph Kidd Jr and Lois Launderville of Cleveland married April 7 in Erie Pennsylvania with a Presbyterian ceremony. The bride is a commercial artist with the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the couple will reside in Cleveland.

Coon Hunters Meet Near Loveland Ohio

Southern Ohio Coon Hunters Association held its regular monthly meeting in Loveland on a Thursday evening with over 300 in attendance. The secretary was authorized to release 20 coon 20 rabbits 10 pheasants and additional birds for hatching, after a report of similar releases last month.135 new members were admitted bringing total membership close to one thousand. Plunges Into Cellar In Front Of Doctor’s Office

Three year old Bobby Davidson riding to breakfast with his mother fell into a cellar way beside Dr Colburn’s office. Janitor Raymond Roach and the boy’s mother rescued him. He escaped with fright and no broken bones. He is the son of R A Davidson, engineer on the Batavia bridge.

Relief and ERRA projects in Clermont County advance

Clermont County receives 11000 for overdue relief bills and keeps relief operations amid continued uncertainty. Federal ERRA work resumes on several projects in Batavia Bethel and New Richmond with 57 workers and plans to hire about 68 more. Bricker offers ruling restricting county payment of costs to village mayors and marshalls in felony and misdemeanor cases where the state fails to indict convict or collect costs.

Almost 300 Milk Permits Issued By Health Board

The Board of Health has issued nearly three hundred milk permits to date. The public is misinformed that all producers must immediately conform to regulations. A practical standard will be set, with fair handling for clean food producers and due scrutiny for those whose products are not fit for consumption, based on financial condition and willingness to protect perishable milk. Attorney General John W Brickner rendered an opinion approving an issue of notes of the Union Rural School District Clermont County Ohio for 4215 dollars. The notes were purchased by the Retirement Board of the State Teachers Retirement System.
