Joseph Williams brother of ex auditor Penn Williams and former Batavia resident died at his niece Mrs M H Wood’s home in Felicity on Tuesday of last week in his 59th year. Born and raised in Brown county near Higginsport he later moved to Felicity. He once dealt in tobacco and was well known in southern Brown county. Funeral was held last Thursday from the home and burial was at Confidence cemetery. A sister and one brother survive him.
