The Senate passed an adjusted pension bill to harmonize gratuities for Mexican Civil War and Spanish American War veterans. Supreme Court guards interurban routes against bus competition
The Ohio Supreme Court upheld the state Public Utilities Commission in two cases denying bus certificates between Columbus and Portsmouth via Chillicothe and Dayton to Hamilton. The decisions find that granting routes would injure interurban lines like Scioto Valley Traction and Royal Green Coach, which already serve the routes. The court also blocked a Hamilton to Oxford path despite some other buses winning certificates for Oxford to Hamilton.
