A survey of about 2,500 residents and business customers in the Batavia exchange southwest area starts Monday April 19 and runs 12 days. The objective is to learn if customers want extended area service to the Cincinnati metropolitan rate area without toll charges and to gather rate preferences.

Countian Receives Philippines Highest Civil Decoration

Courier-Legion Egg Hunt Set For Clermont
For the fourth year the Clermont Courier and Frank W. Weaver Post American Legion sponsor an Easter Egg Hunt at 2 p m on Saturday April 17 on the legion grounds State Route 74 near Batavia. Cooperating Batavia merchants donate prizes for eggs printed with lucky numbers. At least 600 eggs will be hidden by legionnaires with age group sections for four to twelve year olds and a separate area for very young children. Adults have a spectator area and supervision by legion members will ensure safety.
