Three Are Fined On Liquor Charge
State liquor agents and county officers raided three homes and three defendants pleaded guilty in Common Pleas Court before Judge Charles G. White. John M. Davis of Batavia received a 30 day jail term and a 200 dollar fine with costs suspended. Edward Goodman of near Amelia was sentenced to 30 days with all but 50 dollars of the fine suspended. Grace Haley of near Bethel was fined 150 dollars and costs and given 30 days in jail with the jail term suspended.
