New York AP confirms actress Elizabeth Taylor formally donated her eyes to the International Eye Foundation. Her agent said the decision was made at a Washington Eye Ball where she served as honorary chairperson. Her husband John Warner also donated his eyes, according to spokesman John Springer.

Cleveland bonfire to burn books and TVs sparks church plan

Columbia Road Baptist Church in North Olmsted led by Rev John W Withers plans a Sunday 6 PM bonfire to burn items deemed sinful. About 400 in the church will join after a Cleveland conference inspired the effort including books records and possibly bikini wear. Fifty thousand silver pieces valued in a Bible passage are cited. The burning permit is secured from the fire department.

Marion Center teacher shocked as students raised real hundreds

In Marion Center Pennsylvania an elementary teacher learned a class of students each held a real $100 bill after a 1 year old boy found $10,000 in his mother's purse envelope. The child handed out bills on the bus and at school, with more than half the class later showing multiple bills. Authorities say $400 was recovered so far.
