Bloomingdale playmate loses parts of palimony suit

Los Angeles AP The judge dismissed three counts of Vicki Morgan's $11 million palimony suit against Alfred Bloomingdale's estate and Betsy Bloomingdale. The ruling limits potential recovery to $5 million from two counts for alleged oral and implied contracts. The court labeled the affair as meretricious and not protected by unwritten contract doctrine. The suit, tied to Bloomingdale's status as a Reagan adviser and his death from cancer, continues only in part.
