Murder Suspect Is Arrested On Henrietta Farm
Robert Woskey a 45 year old Jamaican farm worker was arrested at the Donald Beach farm in Henrietta by Deputy Sheriffs on a murder warrant from Michigan authorities. Five men and two others remain at large believed linked to the slaying of farm worker Young near St Joseph Michigan last weekend. A charred body was found after a shack was set afire.

Strike at No 4 mills ends after talks
Strikes at the National Tube Company in Lorain ending in the blooming mill and the No 4 seamless mill were halted after the firm promised to speed negotiations on incentive clauses for the contract with the United Steelworkers local union. Paul Schremp said the blooming mill workers sought a production based bonus for months and the stoppage began Wednesday morning and 11 p.m. for the seamless mill in sympathy. the walkout ended yesterday afternoon.

A church supper at 6 p.m. Sunday will welcome three D P families to Elyria, hosted by the Magyar Evangelical and Reformed Church Board. Burglary Net Hits The Olympia Recreation and Roll Arena

Man Sentenced For Petit Larceny In Revere

Wellington Mr and Mrs James Radley of 232 Kelly Street received a telegram stating their son Cpl Leo Radley was slightly wounded in action in Korea on September 18. This is Wellington’s first war casualty in Korea. Radley, home on furlough in July, left for California en route to Korea after 1946 Army service including two and a half years in Italy.
