Hearing set for suspect in hit-skip deaths
Lorain man Harold A. Adcox, 26, faces a 2 pm Friday preliminary hearing in Lorain Municipal Court on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide in the hit-skip deaths of two Boy Scouts, Daniel C. Kress 11 and Stephen Tomeco 13. Bond set at 50 000, he remains in Lorain City jail awaiting transfer to the county facility. Police recovered Adcox’s 1972 Buick Electra on private property following a tip, after he was arrested about two hours after the West Erie Avenue crash that killed the scouts and their scoutmaster.
