Potter's Lane uses shipping containers for veterans housing
American Family Housing in Orange County is creating California first shipping container apartment building for homeless veterans. The 16-unit project, built from three containers per unit plus shared spaces, aims for energy efficiency and long term durability while avoiding the look of a shipping container. GrowthPoint Structures partnered to provide a modular system approved for multifamily construction, enabling quicker, lower cost housing with a long term plan.
