Siblings face breast cancer and elective mastectomy
Trish Metzger learns she carries an abnormal BRCA1 gene after her sister Jenny dies of breast cancer. She elects a double mastectomy to extend her life and protect her nephew Frankie Bassett, who turns two. Jenny died April 24, a year and a half after her diagnosis.
