Ohio liquor prices could rise under wage freeze
Ohio Liquor Director Richard Guggenheim found that under the federal wage price freeze the state could raise prices on some brands. The department had a sale offering a 10 percent discount on cases and an extra two percent for wholesale buys, but prices were restored after August 31. The IRS argued the move violated the freeze, so prices might have to revert to May 25 1970 levels. Car 469 found abandoned after cruiser was stolen during a pursuit in Catonsville Maryland.
