Elyrian receives Bronze Star Purple Heart posthumously

PFC Norman Jones Sr. of Elyria will be awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart posthumously on Monday. Lt. George Moss will present the honors to his parents from St 244 West River S after Jones was killed in a June 13 combat in Vietnam with the 103rd Airborne Division, Co. D. He had served in Vietnam since March 5 and is survived by his parents, one brother, and five sisters.
