Lightning strikes farm barn near Elyria causing extensive fire
Lightning hit John Moon's barn on the La Grange road in Carlisle township four and a half miles southwest of Elyria. The blaze destroyed the barn, tool shed, two straw stacks, and the garage, with several thousand dollars in loss. Two Cleveland Men Fined Here
Two Cleveland men were fined a total of 175 dollars by Justice S. J. George for violations. Frank Fineral and Charles Smith, both of Cleveland, were arrested last night near Ridgeville by State Prohibition Agent O. B. Rapkta and deputy sheriffs. Fitzgerald received 190 dollars for possession of liquor and 59 dollars for driving while intoxicated. Smith paid 25 dollars and received a fine for intoxication.
