Explosion tears hole in Aer Lingus jet before landing
An Aer Lingus Boeing 707 from New York to London landed safely at Heathrow after an explosion blew a three by two foot hole in the front section. Ten passengers were treated for shock, one taken to hospital. Officials said the blast was not bomb related and cause was undetermined.
