Fishing Party At Ely Park Pool Tomorrow
The last load of fish was put into Ely Park pool today for the annual fishing party for children six years old and under, beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Mayor Henry W. Aultson will start the youth event, with John Madhock listing park superintendent. Morning hours 9 a.m. to noon are for six to ten year olds. after noon the pool opens to all up to 13. About 500 carp, bullheads, and catfish were stocked by the Elks and Eagles lodges, sponsors of the party. Children may fish daily to 7 p.m. until all fish are taken. The fish were purchased in Venice, Ohio, west of Sandusky.

Shaker Heights Player Dies From Heart Block
Granville, Ohio radio reports Jack Sload, a senior football player from Shaker Heights at Denison University, died of a heart block after collapsing during football practice on September 11. He fainted in Newark hospital an hour after collapse. College health officer Dr. R H. Williams announced the death.
