The County Commissioners Association of Ohio adopted a resolution at Salt Fork State Park opposing using motor vehicle license fees and fuel taxes for mass transit. The measure, backed by the Ohio County Engineers Association, argues current revenues are inadequate to build and maintain highway and bridge networks across counties, municipalities, and townships, which account for 82 percent of Ohio roads.
