Freedom at hand for Sirhan
Sirhan Sirhan, conviction for the Kennedy assassination, has a strong chance at release after a three year horizon. An annual parole hearing was set at Soledad Correctional Facility as state parole officers cut time off his sentence last year, with a potential release as early as July 1983. He would be 39 at release, well before Kennedy’s own age at death.
