Many Events Planned For Organ Dedication
Oct 24 marks the dedication of the Schantz organ at First Methodist Church with Dr Earl R Henderson conducting and Mrs Squire at the organ. Wilbur Held of Ohio State University will give the morning recital, followed by a dedication banquet the next week and another recital by Dr Farley Hutchins. Choir chairs dedication on Oct 31 features a vesper musicale by the church choirs under Daniel Harris with other events planned.

Become Ministers In Unique Service At Baptist Church
Two young men, Paul Wehman and William Rugg, were ordained to the Gospel ministry in a single service at First Baptist Church. Wehman, associate pastor in Chicago, and Rugg, a Faith Theological Seminary graduate, plan Navy Chaplains’ Corps service. Local pastors assisted and the ordination council, from 12 Baptist churches, unanimously recommended proceeding.

Seek To Repeat Top Attendance Of Last Week
Rev Robert Reynhout of First Baptist Church hopes to repeat last week’s record attendance at Round Up Sunday. Washington Ave Church of Christ plans 445 attendees, but 502 actually attended. The Joesh Chest offering met the building fund goal, and buses will carry members to Elyria for a 3 pm service with music from church musicians.

The Medina Association has called an Ecclesiastical Council at North Ridgeville this afternoon to hear Rev Ralph Chapman on his Christian experience and fitness for ordination. If the council votes affirmatively, an ordination service will be held Sunday evening October 3.

Youth Group Trained For Mission Service
Twenty five young women and one man train at National College for Christian Workers Kansas City Missouri since July for service as mission workers in church related institutions for two years. The U S 2 Program started in 1951 modeled on a three year foreign service program. The training is one of three orientation programs for new missionaries supported by the Board of Missions during the Summer.

Graham Preaches Crusade in Helsinki Finland
Evangelist Billy Graham carried his religious crusade to within the shadow of the Iron Curtain by preaching in Helsinki Finland. He was accorded an enthusiastic welcome by the people as his party walked 600 yards from the pier to a hotel.
