The C A McMillen Oil and Gas Company drilled a new gas well on Station Road in Columbia Township producing about one million cubic feet daily. Struck at 2,715 feet, it is the second producer on the Klooz farm, part of eight Lorain county wells in the past 18 months. The company, largely owned by Elyria residents, plans further drilling on nearby leased farms.
