Shoplifting suspect strikes guards at department store

Two women security guards Brenda Biddle and Elaine Kerley were treated for facial injuries at Zayre Department Store after a male shoplifting suspect struck them as he fled in a car. Biddle reported seeing a man place an item in his sock. no hospitalization was required. In a separate case, Larry L. Davis III was found guilty of two counts of resisting arrest after pleading no contest to harassment and evading police on Hollywood Drive. He was fined 20 dollars and sentenced to 60 days in jail on each charge.
