Man Injured In Traffic Accident
Louis Repko, 53, of 395 East 41st street Lorain, an oiler, was admitted to St Josephs Hospital yesterday with a scalp laceration and possible internal injuries after being struck by a car while riding a motor scooter. The car was driven by Wilhelmina Schindler, 26, of 160 West 38th street Lorain, who was moving between supermarket lots across the road, per sheriff records.

Two Men Confess to Starting Garage Fire
Admissions by John J. Takacs and Edwin L. Hodgson place them at the rear garage of the Davis Cafe on Lake Avenue Monday night. After extended questioning by the Elyria Fire Department the State Fire Marshall’s Office and Police Detective Captain Maurice Flood they confessed this morning and were held for investigation. Takacs had threatened revenge against Mrs. Davis after she helped have them arrested on disorderly conduct charges earlier. The two were detained after the fire and prior disturbance reports.
