Historical group seeks to save old Jaycox Road schoolhouse
The North Ridgeville Historical Society aims to buy the abandoned one room schoolhouse on Jaycox Road for 15000. If not, North Olmsted may move it to an old fashioned village. A meeting at 38369 Center Ridge Road 8 p.m. Wednesday invites volunteers. Pre-school story hours start October 4 at the North Ridgeville Branch Library with limited slots.

School district notes show 4,727 students and one fewer teacher than last year. Board member Carl Noll and new administrator Robert Lee share a Sept. 12 anniversary. Noll's wife Dayle marks 13 years, the Lees two. Band Boosters meet 7 30 p m Wednesday in the high school band room.
