Unlicensed clinic aide charged with distributing drugs
State Pharmacy Board investigators and Elyria police charged Julio DeLeon, 47, an assistant to Dr. Leonard Faymore at Doctors Clinic in Eaton Township, with practicing medicine without a license and posing as a certified physician assistant. He allegedly gave 30 Desoxyn pills and 20 Quaaludes to an investigator without an exam, while claiming to be a PA. The clinic faced prior investigations and a July raid. 52 people locally have been indicted for drug dealing on clinic grounds. BeLcon pleaded innocent and awaits a October preliminary hearing in Elyria Municipal Court.
