Washington AP reports the first colorized U S twenty will begin circulating next month with peach blue and yellow touches. Banks can stock Oct 9 and order from a Federal Reserve bank as the Bureau of Engraving prints about 915 million new twenties. The redesigned notes retain Jackson and the White House but add faint blue features a yellow microprint and a green eagle shield. Old notes remain valid until worn out. New $50 and $100 notes are planned for 2004 and 2005 respectively.
