Skunkfest celebrates 11th year in North Ridgeville
Deb Cipriani and Wilbur Cipriani host Skunkfest in South Central Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The event features a Skunk fest king and queen, a skunk costume contest, an obstacle course, and notes on skunk behavior. The Travel Channel and PBS Nature have highlighted previous fests. last year drew over 1,000 attendees from multiple states and abroad. The Lake Shore Corvette Club hosts a charity show September 17 at Saw Mill Trace to benefit the USO of Northern Ohio. Registration runs 9 to 11 30 a.m. with $10 per car. entertainment 11 30 a.m. to 2 30 p.m. Eddie and the Edsells perform rain or shine. Also Sept 17 a town hall by State Rep Matt Lundy at the North Ridgeville Branch Library. Other events include a Craft Bazaar October 8 at Fields United Methodist Church and a car show October (time).
