TV Tower Collapse Kills Seven Workers Near Minneapolis

A 1,285 foot television tower intended to serve three Minneapolis St. Paul stations collapsed during final construction, killing seven workers. The $3 million structure lay wrecked in an aerial view with a covered body visible at the site. The story continues on page 3.

Two sought in store holdup in Elyria and Lorain

Police in Elyria and Lorain search for a woman about 30 in a gold dress who entered A and B Beverage at 815 Lake Ave and, armed with a knife, robbed the store for an undetermined amount. A male driver is said to have fled north on Rt 57 toward Lorain.

Park manager reinstated after 'administrative error' cited

Findley State Park Manager Don Riddle returned to work after a one day layoff blamed on administrative error in Columbus. A mass shutdown forced 46 of Ohio's 57 parks to axe staff. Riddle and Findley staff except assistant Jack Basnett were dismissed.
