Driver dies and two hurt in Rt. 92 head on crash
A North Royalton man was killed and two LaGrange residents injured in a head on collision on Route 92 near the Lorain Cuyahoga line. Charles D Piccola 26 died at Southwest Community Hospital after the 2:15 p.m. crash. Ballard Hicks 39 and A J Richmond, both of LaGrange, were treated. Hicks in fair condition with a fractured arm and ankle. The sheriff’s report says Piccola crossed the center line into Hicks’ path. The fatality raises Lorain County’s traffic deaths to 45 for the year, compared with 38 the year ago.
