Elyria Man Charged in Fatal Hit-Skip Case
An Elyria man Gerald Henderson age 28 is charged with leaving the scene of an accident after a fatal hit-skip in Elyria. Eddie Pratt 25 Lorain was struck on Lodi Street 8 30 p m Friday and died later at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Henderson was arrested at a downtown tavern and linked to another Vermilion crash. Police found heavy front end damage and blue dye matching a jacket on the car. Henderson had been jailed on DUI charges earlier Friday.

Accused slayer of sheriff surrenders to posse
