NOGALES Ariz International Union of Mine Mill and Smelter Workers officials ordered locals to take steps to have members return to work as soon as possible after a four hour conference on the temporary restraining order. Union President John Clark said a telegram was sent to locals directing compliance with the injunction issued by Federal Judge Alfred P Murrah under the Taft Hartley Act. The strike began Aug 27 and involved about 100000 workers with 42000 idled by the walkout. The injunction runs through Sept 15 with a hearing set a day earlier on making it permanent.
