Historic homes open for inaugural Elyria tour
The West by the River Historic District in Elyria hosts its first home and garden tour on September 18 from noon to 6 pm. Eight stops include eight West Avenue addresses and five gardens, with proceeds supporting the district’s preservation nonprofit. Tickets cost 10 in advance and 12 at the door and a walking map will be provided. Proceeds fund West by the River Historical Improvement Corp. of Elyria.
