Cross Walk marks Labor Day weekend in Elyria Lorain
The 12th annual Cross Walk led by Pastor Danny Parsons and Elyria's Church of the New Harvest followed a 10 mile route from Lorain City Hall along Broadway to North Ridge Road Lake Avenue and into Elyria ending at City Hall. Participants carry a wooden cross and banner and reflect on the biblical call to gather in his name.

Head-on Crash injures three in New Russia Township
A 2:45 p.m. head-on collision on Russia Road at Route 58 left three people injured, including a 92-year-old woman. Joshua Pennington, 16, of Vermilion, driving a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo, failed to yield and turned into the path of a southbound 2008 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Sandra Nahm, 72, of Amherst.
